Since 2004, progressive death metal quintett Needless has painted the canvas of extreme musical art with intrinsic devotion and genuine attitude throughout their years to become one of the most prominent powerhouses of the Hungarian underground. By creating an organized vortex of songwriting wit and tight instrumental impressions, they ought to evoke the best attributes of traditional genres in metal with the need for compositional perfection.

Needless always tried to create a kind of a seemingly chaotic but conscious framework from the elements of these genres mentioned above, lyrically all backed up with contemplations about mankind on a grand scale.

In 2022 they finally profited from the pursuit of their own voice. The band’s latest record, the space opera-ish “The Cosmic Cauldron” made a significant breakthrough by Uprising! Records. They’ve not just become prominent members of the Hungarian metal scene, but their music did an orbital journey across the globe. “The Cosmic Cauldron” arrived on the shelves from the USA to Japan, including webshops of Nuclear Blast or Napalm Records. They also managed to play before bands like Unleashed, or Vektor, and made shows at home and all around Europe.

Navigating between imaginary worlds from mythology to the far reaches of human understanding, Needless is about to reach their most artistic phase with the third milestone of their devotional craftsmanship in extreme music, which is yet to be released in 2025.
